For as long as I can remember, I have been drawn to photography and the emotions they carry. Long before I ever picked up a camera professionally, I was fascinated by the ability a single image has to preserve a feeling, or a moment that would otherwise pass with time.
Memories have always held deep value in my life. I've always seen them as treasures, reminders of the people I love, and the experiences that have shaped me. Time has a way of moving quickly, but the gift of photography allows the ability to pause it, and revisit it. Thats understanding is what shapes my work today.
Memory is one of the most meaningful gifts we have been given, allowing us to revisit moments that shape our lives and relationships. My work is rooted in the belief that creativity is not accidental, but purposeful. Because of this, I view photography as more than documentation. It is participation in that creative calling. My intention is to create photographs that feel timeless rather than performative. I want each gallery to serve not just as a record of what occurred, but as a meaningful remembrance of moments in time. Ultimately, I believe photographs matter because memories matter. They allow us to honor the people we love, and revisit seasons of life.
